Meaker is the surprise call up for England tour of India

Stuart Meaker has been the surprise call up for the forthcoming tour of India which has 5 ODI and 2 T20s with Jamie Anderon rested and Kevin Pietersen back in the England team after the ECB rested the player for the ODI India tour last month.

Jos Buttler and Alex Hales have been selected for the 2 T20 matches after showing good performances with the bat in the Twenty20 mini-series England and West Indies. Stuart Borthwick has been promised a call up to the England team as they will travel to the UAE to go against Pakistan in January. Stuart Borad won't recover from his shoulder injury until the last T20 which will be in October 29th so in the meanwhile Graeme Swann will be the Twenty20 captain till then.
